About Us

A bit of history

“We thought you might want to know a little about us. We have served in our nation’s military around the world for 3 decades. After 29 moves we decided to retire and search for a place we always dreamed of. As outdoor enthusiasts we wanted to be in a small town in the mountains with four seasons and lots to do year round. Then our daughters treated us to a visit to Leavenworth for Lori’s birthday. We stayed in a local B&B and loved it. Mostly we were attracted to the very friendly people who lived in the valley. We tried to return each year checking out a different season, always gaining new experiences and making more friends. Leavenworth’s beauty captured us. We decided to build a Bed and Breakfast so others could enjoy what we had discovered—magnificent scenery, a cute Bavarian town, a multitude of festivals and activities year round and most of all warm American hospitality.
